What is Black Liberation Media?
Black Liberation Media LLC (BLMedia) is a member LLC organized as a member cooperative. Please visit our about page to learn more about the business structures of our collective.
BLMedia is not a non-profit organization - this means donations are not tax deductible.
How does BLMedia earn revenue?
BLMedia collects revenue from monthly, or recurring, membership fees; one-time or monthly donations; and ad revenue via YouTube. The overwhelming majority of our revenue is via the sustaining support of our viewers. Our ad revenue, via YouTube, resumed in December, 2025. However, we are clear this decision is one that can be reversed at anytime. That said, we take our role in this space seriously and we recognize that we are broadcasting within a corporate system that looks to destroy radical Black politics.
What does your support pay for?
The operating agreement of BLMedia ensures that all members have the opportunity to work and earn money in the Cooperative. As such, all revenue is split between the LLC (33%) for operating costs and the cooperative members who share the remaining 66% of revenue. It is a goal of BLMedia to expand our work to include additional content production, for which we may run additional fundraising campaigns.
What are the ways to support?
You can fully support BLMedia, for free, by liking and sharing our content, as well as subscribing to our YouTube channel and/or Patreon. Additionally, you can follow us across all of our social media accounts.
To materially support our work, you can become a paid member of the YouTube channel, and support shows directly via superchats and gifts during livestreams and/or premieres.
However, it is our preference for those willing and able to support materially go to do so via a membership on Patreon. Your membership on that platform will provide access to exclusive, or early release of, our content. You can also give a donation using either Stripe or PayPal - payment links for both are also provided below.
